Moldovan winemakers are heading to Odessa in the Ukraine this week to the first Wine and Winery Exhibition. According to a report from the Ukrainian National News Agency, Moldovan and Ukrainian experts
industrialists and bureaucratic representatives will meet to discuss production, export and import issues.
Moldovan winemakers have a close relationship with Ukrainian importers and are developing closer ties with their winemaking counterparts. Last year Ukrainian winemakers bought more than 40,000 tons of Moldovan grapes.
Another 100 industry members from 11 countries, including Hungary, Greece, Italy, Romania and France, are expected to attend the Exhibition.
