Centre Vinicole-Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte (CV-CNF) has published its results for the 2020 financial year. According to its own figures, turnover amounted to €170.2 million, a 19.6 percent decline attributed to the health crisis.

"By consolidating our operating costs, we have managed to achieve a net profit margin of 4.6 percent, very close to that of 2019 – a real achievement in this context," stressed Christophe Juarez, CEO of CV-CNF. With 9.3 million bottles sold, the company recorded a 17 percent decline in sales compared to 2019.

CV-CNF described the first half of 2021 as good. The recovery of the market had progressed faster than had been imagined, Juarez said. Nevertheless, he said, this should be viewed with caution, as wine consumption, at least in the home country, has been declining since 2008.
With a new marketing campaign starting in September this year, CV-CNF wants to strengthen its presence on a national level and, from the end of the year, also internationally.

The merger with the Champagne Castelnau cooperative group, originally planned for June (WEINWIRTSCHAFT reported), will take place in January 2022 at the latest, according to CV-CNV. itp
