Understanding the multiple influences on viticulture, explaining the quality, authenticity and origin of wine, knowing the essentials about vine health - these and other maxims are pursued by wine experts and analysts around the world. For the first time, the international wine research conference "In Vino Analytica Scientia" will take place in Germany, supported by Meininger Verlag.
Neustadt an der Weinstraße will be the twelfth venue; other locations have been in Bordeaux, France (2019), Salamanca, Spain (2017) and Mezzocorona, Italy (2015).
"The ‘In Vino Analytica Scientia’ conference offers a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the latest findings in international wine research while extending international networks."
Over five days, the experts will present the latest results and innovations in the fields of wine chemistry, wine aroma analysis, wine sensory analysis, wine authenticity and artificial intelligence. The detailed program lists a total of 90 lectures and 150 poster presentations.
The 10-member organising committee of the Weincampus Neustadt/DLR Rheinpfalz under the joint leadership of Dominik Durner and Ulrich Fischer is supported by scientific partners from the universities of Bonn, Braunschweig, Geisenheim and Kaiserslautern.
Participation in the conference is open to interested trade visitors. Further information and registration at www.ivas2022.com. Reduced participation fees apply until the end of May.
