Due to the continuing pandemic situation, Wine Paris & Vinexpo will be postponed to 14-16 February 2022. According to a press release of the fair company Vinexposium, the success of the in-person fair in June cannot be guaranteed due to the existing uncertainties. However, a digital platform will still be offered.
With the postponement, the company is positioning itself as the first event with international appeal in the 2022 trade fair calendar and hopes for an end to the pandemic by then. As recently announced in the case of Vinitaly, efforts are also being made to find digital solutions. From June this year, the "Vinexposium Connect" platform will enable B2B meetings in digital form.
In addition to French exhibitors, international exhibitors from the wine and spirits sector will also be gathered under one roof in Paris. Originally, the fair was to take place in February 2021, but was postponed to June 2021 in November last year. sw
