Before it kicks off again onsite in Paris from 14 to 16 February 2022, the French wine fair Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris will launch its digital format in June. This was announced in April after the in-person fair originally planned for June had to be postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.The central theme will be "Boucning Back". That is, content and offerings "designed to provide contextual support to the wine and spirits community".
Every Tuesday in June, there will be webinars, panel discussions and interviews focusing on the new big trends in the industry, including online sales and the digital evolution of the industry, or sustainability. In addition, there will be on-demand content every Thursday on the Vinexposium Connect platform.
The patron of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2021 Goes Digital is the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV). There will be input from OIV as well as from the other partners International Wine and Spirit Research (IWSR), International Sommeliers' Association (ASI), La Wine Tech, Vinocamp, Vivino and Business France.
