Until the end of February, the trade fair company Veronafiere had stuck to with the June 2021 date for their international wine and spirits exhibition, Vinitaly, but now the unavoidable decision has been made to postpone the event to 10-13 April 2022. Only the date for the 10th edition of OperaWine on 19-20 June 2021 remains as an in-person event for press, trade professionals and the wine producers selected by Wine Spectator magazine.
Vinitaly further announced that it is working on a "bridge calendar" for B2B events. Among them, is a "special edition of Vinitaly" for international and Italian buyers to be held in Verona from 16-18 October 2021. vc
