Vinexpo Hong Kong will now take place in February 2021, replacing the show that was scheduled for July 2020. The show will be part of Vinexpo Tour, a package of global trade events scheduled from the end of 2020 to the end of 2021.
According to a statement, Vinexpo will offer customers “incisive, targeted offers enabling them to maximise resources”. This will include the chance to attend multiple shows.
“Our customers will be looking for greater sales efficacy in the second half of 2020 and 2021,” said Rudolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexpo. “Supporting them through complementary solutions with optimised participation costs is more than ever our priority.”
Vinexpo is also “considering creating other international business formats”.
Vinexpo, a trade fair that originated in Bordeaux in 1981, has grown to become a worldwide juggernaut, until it was derailed by the pandemic.
