The winegrowers' cooperative Les Vignerons de Buzet (VdB) has signed a partnership agreement with the wine group AdVini with the aim of better marketing the wines from France's southwest. For this purpose, VdB takes over Maison Rigal in Cahors from Advini.

The contract partners’ aim is a commercial alliance for the export business, as they explain in a press release. The newly founded subsidiary, VdB Distribution, will coordinate the distribution of Vignerons de Buzet and Rigal in France and Belgium. In the future, Rigal itself will also operate under the same name as Vignerons de Buzet. For worldwide distribution, AdVini will support with its sales expertise in 106 countries.

The AdVini Group is one of the largest French wine producers with a turnover of around €240 million (2019). It has more than 2,000 hectares of vines in France and another 200 hectares in South Africa. Les Vignerons de Buzet are among the most important producers in southwest France, with more than 11 million bottles produced. Among Cahors producers, Rigal is considered a benchmark in sustainability, which is expected to play a key role in the partnership's course. sw
