A new cellar master, Carine Bailleul, has been appointed at the Champagne Castelnau Cooperative (CRVC). She succeeds her predecessor, Elisabeth Sarcelet, who has held the post since 2013 and is retiring at the end of the year.
The 40-year-old Bailleul has been part of the company since 2003. She has a degree in oenology and a master's degree in wine and champagne and has already been responsible for the winery and bottling since 2015.
The cooperative is in merger talks with the Centre Vinicole - Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte (CV-CNF). Concrete negotiations were recently postponed until the end of the year. itp
