Château Lafite Rothschild, the renowned First Growth wine estate in Pauillac, has a new technical leadership, as do its sibling properties of Château Duhart-Milon, Château L’Evangile and Château Rieussec.

Eric Kohler, who has worked with DBR (Lafite) for 25 years becomes the Technical Director and will focus on Château Lafite Rothschild and Château Duhart-Milon. He will oversee the properties’ move to organic viticulture, a process that is already underway.

Oliver Trégoat takes on the role of Technical Director at  L’Evangile in Pomerol, where he will shortly be joined by a new technical manager. Trégoat also takes on the technical management of Rieussec in Sauternes, plus Château Paradis Casseuil, in the Entre-deux-Mers. He will continue to oversee Long Dai in China, Domaine d'Aussières in the Languedoc, Los Vascos in Chile and Bodegas CARO in Argentina, all of which are part of the DBR (Lafite) portfolio.

Both Kohler and Trégoat took up their new positions this week.
