Superstar Kylie Minogue has just added a rosé Prosecco to her ever-expanding wine portfolio. Kylie’s newest sparkling wine is sourced from the Zonin family estate in Gambellara, Veneto, Italy, and is blended from 85 precent Glera and 15 percent Pinot Noir. It contains 11 %vol. Tasting notes from kylieminoguewines.com profile the vegan wine as “elegant…with notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries and blossom. Brightly textured and crisp palate with a refreshing citrus finish.”

Kylie Minogue is no stranger to setting records. Her brand, Wines by Kylie Minogue, which only launched in May of last year, has become – much like the popstar – extremely successful, especially in Britain where she has a huge fan base. The brand, owned by London-based distributor Benchmark Drinks, has sold one million bottles of wine within the year hailing it as one of the fastest-growing and most successful wine brands ever released in Britain.

The portfolio already includes a Vin de France rosé, a Provence rosé, a Côtes de Gascogne Sauvignon Blanc, an organic Cava, a Pays d’Oc Merlot, and a Margaret River Chardonnay. A Yarra Valley Pinot Noir, created especially for her parents, is said to be in the works.

Kylie’s rosé Prosecco is now available in select supermarkets across Britain, Australia and select European countries and is retailing for £12 per bottle. It can also be purchased online from Wine Delivered for delivery within the UK. kw
