Saint Emilion in 1828. Although Antoine Moueix Lebègue exploits 250 hectares of vineyard in Saint Emilion, Fronsac and Haut-Médoc, they are better known as shippers, moving some three million bottles a year with a turnover of 10 million Euros. Grand Chais de France was apparently also looking to purchase the company that announced bankruptcy in October. Antoine Moueix Lebègue is seen as a new asset for Jeanjean, which already has a network of distribution for Ogier (Rhône), Gassier (Provence), Rigal (Cahors) and Cazes (Roussillon) that generates 150 millions Euros of sales, of which 40% outside France. Marc Leconte, currently the managing director of Rigal, is expected to be named to head the new acquisition. Jeanjean plans to invest 3 millions Euros over the next two years to restructure the company.
