Emilio Pedron from Gruppo Italiano Vini has confirmed that his group has purchased the production facility of Bolla near Soave from Brown-Forman for
an undisclosed sum. Brown-Forman retains the trademark, but GIV will produce the wines and act as the brand s distributor in Italy. As GIV already owns Santi, Lamberti and Folonari in the Verona region, Brown-Forman believes that the move will improve efficiency and add flexibility in sourcing wines for their brand.
