Bellavista from Franciacorta has been named Official Sparkling Wine Partner of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Award.

Launched in 2002 by the UK’s Restaurant magazine, the World’s Best 50 Restaurants Awards has become a juggernaut; restaurants that land on the list can expect their phones to ring off the hook from people seeking bookings. The list is compiled by more than 1,000 food experts from 26 regions of the world, including food writers, chefs and others.

This year, former number one restaurants will be removed from the competition, to allow space for new entrants. They will, however, be included in a ‘Best of the Best’ category.

The official sparkling wines are Bellavista’s Alma Gran Cuvée, Special Edition Teatro La Scala Brut 2013 and Vittorio Moretti 2008 Riserva.

Bellavista, located in Italy’s Franciacorta region, renowned for its sparkling wines, is part of the Terra Moretti Vino Group.

"We are very proud to be on the side of the fine dining world with our Bellavista Franciacorta. We all share the same pursuit of excellence, the quest for the best ingredients and the focus on details" says Francesca Moretti, CEO of Terra Moretti Vino. “Only a few months ago Bellavista was the Official Sparkling Wine of the 2019 Best Sommelier of the World Competition in Antwerp, so it felt natural and exciting to take on this call as well.”

The award will take place in Singapore, where from 22 to 25 June there will be a series of culinary celebrations to mark the event.
