For the third consecutive year, Laurent-Perrier is awarding three Champagne Laurent-Perrier Women in Wine Leadership Scholarships. The scholarship, which is merit- and need-based, was established to celebrate, encourage and support emerging female leaders in the wine business. It is awarded by the SommFoundation to three women pursuing certifications – one each at the Certified, Advanced and Master levels – through the Court of Sommeliers.
Many Champagne Houses, including Laurent-Perrier, have a long history of being led by women. The scholarship follows Laurent-Perrier’s dedication to female leadership in the wine industry.
Applications are currently being accepted and the deadline to enter is 27 June. Applicants must work and reside in one of 17 states in the US.
