Ambitious wine plans for Singapore hotel

While the total value of the wine list has not been released, the grapevine has it that the oldest vintage (that is awaiting the certificate of authentication) is the 1847 Chateau Y'Quem, which will be priced at a minimum of $300,000 per bottle. An ambitious wine by the glass programme has also been put in place, and will feature top-end selections, including classified growths. Dr N K Yong (Wine Business International's 'Most Influential Wine Personality' for the Singapore poll) has just been appointed the hotel's official wine consultant - an instant boost in wine image for the hotel.
